Barisan Nasional (BN) emerged as the biggest winner in Malaysia's 16th Negeri Sembilan state election, securing 18 of the 36 contested seats, according to the state Election Commission.

Pakatan Harapan (PH), the coalition led by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, won 11 seats, while Perikatan Nasional (PN) took the remaining seven. Election Commission chairman Datuk Seri Ramlan Harun announced the official results at midnight on Sunday.
