Corrections Policy

Email corrections@theinscript.com with the headline, the URL and the specific claim you believe is wrong. An editor responds within one working day.

Factual errors are fixed in the text and disclosed in a dated note at the foot of the story. Substantive changes to a story's meaning also carry an update line in the byline area. We never silently delete or rewrite published reporting.

Stories are unpublished only where there is a legal order or a clear risk to someone's safety. In those cases we publish a note explaining that the story was removed.
